Los estudiantes de grado décimo del Gimnasio Internacional de Medellín produjeron un remake del discurso final de El Gran Dictador, la primera película sonora de Charlie Chaplin, estrenada en 1940.
Remake of the Great Dictator was a project developed by 10th graders from Gimnasio Internacional de Medellín, in which the idea was to capture the satire and critical stance of the author and also leading our students to get acquainted with the historical and political contexts that were taken to film 80 years ago by Charlie Chaplin in his first non-silent film: The Great Dictator (1940).
This product was one of those which try to find a point of convergence between the learning environments that are part of our daily basis and the demands from the IB Diploma Programme in terms of knowledge, social, political and historical awareness, along with the use of English naturally in both academic and ordinary contexts.
