Abracadabra and sinsalabin: The power of words
The word spell has different meanings. But in this contest the most pertinent ones are:
1: a spoken word or form of words held to have magic power or a state of enchantment
2: a strong compelling influence or attraction
As if it were magic, words make things appear; words are feelings; words are sounds of freedom or slavery. Especially in childhood, words are incantation, Bewitchment, invocation.
In Centro Infantil we love words, we are believers that words change the world every day. Last thursday we met around the Spellin Bee. This event has become an opportunity for students to create stronger camaraderie bonds among grades. Students from Second and Third Grades have shown enthusiasm and have made efforts to be in this contest; adopting a positive and constant attitude to practice the spelling of many words in different classes on a daily basis since the beginning of the year. This motivation to get involved and use the second language naturally has taken place not only in the English sessions but also in different settings, such as the Greetings and Closures. But remember that the beauty, The beauty of words is our only motivation for this contest.
