On May 22th, our adolescents complied with the commitment to take the the MET simulation, that is one of the projects developed by Gimnasio Internacional de Medellín that falls back on a wide experience —considering that this year it reached its 17th version— and a permanent enriching process that provides students from 8th to 11th with different settings, such as a mock test, workshops and feedback with results, background and statistics. All these settings are developed within the ordinary learning environments of the English classes and go until the application of the official MET, which this year will be held on September 27th.
The general objective of this project is to provide different scenarios of competence that consider a mock test of an English standardized test as the starting point of a series of dynamics that promote engagement and measurement of proficiency in everyday situations connected to academic and social contexts.
Everything has turned out in a good way and we expect that this experience will be a meaningful one.
